After being mentioned as a candidate for a few jobs this off season, West Virginia and Neal Brown have agreed to a contract extension. The new deal aims to keep him in Morgantown through 2026. Brown had four years remaining on the original agreement he signed. In total the six-year contract is worth $23.85 million with an average yearly salary of just under $4 million annually Baker Mayfield Pillow Cover. That salary would put him between the 2020 salaries of Iowa State Matt Campbell and Oklahoma State Mike Gundy among Big 12 coaches. The commitment to the Mountaineers coaching staff has also increased to $4 million per year with the new deal. Through two seasons, Brown has led the team an 11-11 mark with finishes of 5-7 and 6-4, respectfully. Last year mark included a 5th place finish in the Big 12 , and a win over Army in the Liberty Bowl. Brown shared the following in the school release:I want to thank President Gee, Shane and Keli Zinn for their unwavering support of our football program. I also want to thank our players, coaches and staff for their commitment and dedication to West Virginia University, Brown said https://www.clevelandgearstore.com/Jeremiah_Owusu_koramoah_Hoodie-208. As we enter year three, I look forward to getting our fans back in the stadium and building on the momentum we have going in our program. Stay tuned to The Scoop for the latest.
