The nearer we get to the unveiling of NBA 2K MT on next-gen, the more enthusiastic I am about what is ahead. The current-gen variant has fumbled around a bit, but I must believe some of the issues are because of 2K dividing its resources with all the next-gen iteration.
It seems clear, 2K has firearms blazing on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox collection X models, and don't forget what they did to put the bar as we moved into the current-gen back in 2013. This time around, all indications point to 2K doing their very best to provide the type of visual experience that's unmatched around --at the least--all of the other names set to start in first week of next-gen availability. At the moment, the single most impressive looking game that I've seen on next-gen is Spider-Man: Miles Morales. If you have not seen it yet, here is a sneak peak and you tell me if it is simple to differentiate when the action moves from cutscene to actual gameplay.
The game appears completely bonkers, and there is every reason to believe it will be a blast to play. Nevertheless, I'm going to head out on a limb and say that Buy 2K MT on PS5 and Xbox collection X will be even more impressive. When we saw that the Zion Williamson trailer below, many were impressed, but there were still jokes about excessive sweat, and many others wondered whether this would be actual in-game footage. Sweat jokes aside, this seems excellent, and when you envision what it will look like in a digital stadium, packed with entirely 3-D-rendered fans, officials, cheerleaders, coaches, benches and nine other players around the floor, things go to the second level. Take a look at a couple of videos designed to show off the energy of the PS5 and Xbox Collection X.
